Rigour and Openness in 21st Century Science

The British government is set to radically reform research with its declaration on open access. But just how will this impact science in Britain and worldwide? Come to Oxford on 11th – 12th April to debate what the future of science looks like.

Are we set for an evolution or a radical revolution in publishing and academia? What opportunities and threats are there in data sharing? How can digital innovation change how research works? Perhaps openness risks unleashing a torrent of mediocre research... Or will openness lead to new standards of honesty, rigour and reproducibility in science?
