M5.35 – Environmental variables tool

The WorldClim (http://www.worldclim.org/) data sets provide a rich set of climate variables at high resolution (30 arc-seconds to 10 arc-minutes). This service will deliver climate variable maps for the defined region, along with summary climate diagrams and downloadable files for the region at specified subsampled resolutions.

Delivery delayed to allow work on collaborative services

At the recent BioVel workshop in Stockholm I arranged a collaboration between WP5 and BioVel's Niche Distribution Modelling team to integrate a spatial analysis tool running on OBOE into BioVel workflows. In order to do this work now we have delayed the delivery of M5.35 for a month.
